Fleeing Car Crashes In Neighborhood

Information from the Seattle Police Department Blotter:
Detectives are investigating a shooting and car crash Friday afternoon in the Laurelhurst neighborhood.
Police arrested two people after a woman called 911 in the 4700 block of Ravenna Avenue around 2 a.m. Friday to report a gun was pointed at her.When police arrived minutes later, they saw a gray Toyota sedan fleeing the area. Officers briefly chased the vehicle before it crashed at Northeast 41st Street and Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Three passengers escaped from the car and fled on foot, leaving their weapons in the car.
Police, who are searching the scene, have arrested two of the suspects and are continuing to search for the third person.
The victim told police it started with a fight a few days ago and the shooting continued today.
Gun Violence Reduction Unit investigators are handling the investigation and will work with prosecutors as the case progresses.
