Register Your Block To Celebrate SPD's National Night Out On August 2


The 37th Seattle Police Night is August 2, and registration is now open.


SPD reports the incident:


The holiday is a great opportunity to celebrate your efforts to protect your neighborhood. Mutual congratulations on your commitment and continued commitment to public safety. It's also a great time for new neighbors to join in and talk to friends and family about the benefits of Block Watch.
Night Out is a national event hosted by the Seattle Police Department for Seattle Crime Prevention. It is designed to raise awareness of crime prevention, increase local support for crime prevention efforts, and bring our communities together. Night Out usually takes place on the first Tuesday night in August.

Night Out is an annual community development campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborly camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more livable.
 It is designed to raise awareness of crime prevention, increase local support for crime prevention efforts, and bring our communities together. It also offers a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together in positive situations. I mean, you blocked the street, partied with the neighbors and called the police.
